The PTA would like to thank everyone in the community that participated in the Holiday Coin Drive. Thanks to your generous support we raised over $4000 for the families in our community! We were able to help over 30 families (that's 90 kids) this year! We would also like to extend our appreciation to Kim Shanks and her class for taking time out of their day to collect all of the Holiday Coin Drive buckets.

We would also like to give a big thank you to everyone who donated baskets for the PTA Basket Auction at Family Fun Night. We raised over $900 from the sale of these baskets! Thanks to everyone for creating and donating such wonderful baskets!

The next PTA meeting with be held on January 8, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. We will be discussing our plans for I Love To Read Month in February. We are looking for volunteers in the community to come and read. Childcare will be provided at the meeting.

• Everyone is invited to attend the PTA meetings. Babysitting is provided at no charge and we have great refreshments. Come get to know us and join the Lockwood PTA.
